I recently completed the Welding Boot Camp program at ITT and I’m very satisfied with the results. The staff really took the time to ensure my progress and were very insightful. The program layout is also accommodating for part-time students. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get into welding.

This institution by far exceeded my expectations. I’ve never been a quick learner and school was never something I deemed as fun or enjoyable but this school was something I enjoyed getting up and going to. I was in the boot camp course. And in the short month and a half I had a new found confidence in myself, but also a new understanding in my capabilities.

The instructors and staff there are amazing and great at their jobs. And in my opinion there is an instructor for everybody’s own way of learning...

This institution is the one to attend if your like me and learn way more through hands on experience, or are looking to get actually welding qualifications to help you achieve your goals instead of just a diploma. in all the instructors and staff there are phenomenal and I cannot recommend this institution enough.

I had a great time attending ITT, and it definitely opened doors for me. I was able to get an apprenticeship with a union after my school term. The hands-on experience and the great in-class instruction really helped developed my love and appreciation for welding!

ITT was the best and most helpful school I ever attended. It taught me the skills I needed to succeed in my career. I ended up starting my own company and running my Business with the fundamentals and hands-on skills I acquired while attending ITT. Everyone who asks me where they should go to learn to weld, I always refer them to ITT.

This is the best school I have ever attended. If you want to learn how to weld, this is the place to go. The facility is clean and well equiped with more than seven different industrial machines in 24 booths for multi process learning. The instructors are excellent and always ready to lend expert guidance on your course of study. Patrick, Gabby, Carl, Thomas and Ivan were my staff and contributed to my education in a meaningful way. I have enough skills and certifications to confidently go out to seek employment, start fabricating my own things or continue to explore the amazing world of welding. Thank you ITT.

I had a great experience at the Institute of Technical Trades. I enrolled in the Boot Camp for Welding and also took additional courses with extra hours. What stood out the most was the flexibility the school offered, which made it easier for me to manage my time and learning.

Seriously though, great place. I came in with next to no experience in welding and the instructors were fantastic. Super clean shop, tons of different welding equipment to practice on and lots of experienced welders to learn from.

I recently completed the Welding Program and had a great experience. The instructors were knowledgeable, supportive, and focused on practical, hands-on training that truly prepared me for the workforce. The administration team was organized and helpful throughout the program. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to start or advance their career .

To say that I'm happy about attending the welding boot camp would be an understatement. I had no previous welding experience, and under the guidance and support of everyone at ITT, I was able to achieve my goal of becoming CWB certified in SMAW in all positions. Never had a doubt about this school as one of my best friends is a graduate from here. I decided to check them out and give it a chance, an opportunity to myself to change my life. I certainly was not let down and had a most triumphant experience. Everyone who is employed there is not only really good at what they do , but they become your friends if need be as well. The emotional support I received on top of the educational lessons and experience can not be topped. If you need help , ask for it and they will all oblige and spend time with you 1on1. Never had to hesitate on asking questions and seeking advice on how to go about welding anything...

Too all the teachers , Ivan, Patrick, Carl, Gabby and most importantly Thomas, I give you the utmost praise and seal of approval and would recommend this school to everyone in pursuit or looking to pursue a career in welding or to even just learn. The 5.6 months I spent there was great. The only downside was wishing I had more time because this school became like another home to me.
A variety of machines to use and try, lots of material to practice on, enough electrodes to lay as many beads as you can.
Also cant forget wonderful Kathleen who knows her stuff, super friendly and accommodating as well. She is a wonderful soul who welcomed me to the school when I was inquiring to begin with. Id give this place a 10/5 stars if I could . 5/5 will have to suffice. Thank you ITT!!!

At the age of 43, I was eager to change my life and learn a trade that's in high demand. I chose welding, despite not coming from a trade background. Initially, I didn't even know how to read a measuring tape, let alone use a welding torch. In just four months, I transformed from that inexperienced person to a certified welder and landed a job within three weeks of completing school. I'm not a bot; they could match my name with my picture at the school, along with my certificate. I have the receipts to prove it. The school was amazing, the administration was amazing, and the welding teachers were amazing. If I could give ten stars, I would.

I am working toward red seal welder certificate and finished the part time welding booth camp, got all the certificate required. Then I took another 2 month part time practice, got GTAW and SMAW 2 inch pipe certificate. I really appreciate all the staff in ITT, especially Thomas, Miguel, and Kathleen for helping and supporting my challenging task. The ITT instructors use their wide knowledge, expert skill and great patience teaching students, encouraging them passing the test one after one. They can precisely point out the mistake that students made, explain and show them how to correct the mistake in details, give the key point about how to control welding and pass the test. I highly recommend ITT to anyone either change their cheer or upgrade their welding skills and certificate.

I recently went and did my c.w.b certification test here and when I got there in the morning I found the place was very professional and clean the guys were really friendly and there to help and made you feel comfortable. At any point if I asked for advice or anything they were there with good knowledge of the trades and would help any way they could. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking to get into the welding trades (tom) the shop formen is a great guy and very easy to talk to you can't go wrong and from my experience are in a great atmosphere with guys who have first hand experience in the trade. Absolutely fantastic school that I highly recommend. You will learn things here that aren't even taught in the Ironworkers union hall and I'm very thankful that I have the skills and knowledge I gained here as my foundation. I came to this school on the second careers program after being laid off of my warehouse job and nearly a decade of similar experiences at other jobs, I wanted a change. Two days after completing my program here, I went to the Ironworkers union hall and passed their entry test for welding and was dispatched to site the day after. Since then, my crew has been part of building a hospital in Markdale, Sunnybrook hospital, donlands TTC station, Queens park and St Patrick's TTC station, multiple wastewater treatment plants and YMCA community centres. To say that ITT marked a sea change in the quality of my life is a massive understatement....

This has been long overdue but hands down one of the best Welding Institute in Canada! Everyone is very professional and cares about their students future and success. I took the welder fitter program at ITT in 2021. I had never done any welding before but found myself I looking for a career change and decided to try out welding. The program was excellent. Fast forward 2 years and I’m loving my new career, and dabbling in the metal art world. Thank you ITT for providing me with the skills required for my new career. My only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner.
