How do I register at ITT?
Registering for a welding program or course at ITT is simple:
1. Contact us. Call 416-750-1950 or email info@instituteoftechnicaltrades.com and tell us which program or course you are interested in.
2. Schedule an appointment. An admissions advisor will meet with you to discuss your goals, answer your questions, help you choose the right training option, and provide a tour of our campus. Financial assistance options can also be discussed if required.
Is there an application fee?
No. ITT does not charge application fees for its programs or courses.
Do I need previous welding experience to register?
Previous welding experience is not required for many of our training options. ITT offers training for individuals who are new to welding as well as experienced welders looking to upgrade their skills or pursue additional certifications.
How do I know which welding program or course is right for me?
The training best suited for you will depend on your experience, career goals, schedule, and the skills or certifications you want to achieve. Our admissions team can discuss your goals with you and help you choose the training option that best fits your needs.
Can I visit ITT before registering?
Yes. We encourage prospective students to visit the school, tour the facilities, meet with our team, and learn more about the training options available before making a decision.
When can I start my welding training?
Classes start weekly - depending on space and availability. Contact ITT to learn about the next available start date for the training you are interested in.
Note: Welding Techniques, Welder Fitter and Welding Technology start every two months.
