Students receive 100% practical, hands-on training in FCAW (Flux-Core Welding), focusing on one or multiple positions based on their skill level, with the goal of developing new or improved skills in the FCAW welding process. The course material is delivered through a combination of demonstrations and one-on-one practice sessions with an instructor. Theory and safety are integrated into the practical training, emphasizing sequenced learning and repetitive skill-building as students practice and develop competencies.
Certification testing available if required.
FCAW - INTRODUCTION | 20 HOURS |

Students are introduced to the fundamentals of the FCAW process and gain practical, hands-on welding experience. Topics covered include GMAW equipment, materials, applications, techniques, and shop safety. |
FCAW - INTRODUCTION + CERTIFICATION PREP | 40 HOURS |

This practical, hands-on training course is designed for individuals with little to no welding experience who are interested in achieving FCAW certification (CWB/TSSA). Students will learn the fundamentals of the FCAW process and develop new or improved skills in preparation for FCAW certification testing. Training focuses on one or more positions based on skill level. Instruction covers equipment, materials, applications, techniques, filler wire, post-weld operations, shop safety, and other related aspects of the FCAW process. |

Instruction and training are geared toward experienced welders who are looking to improve or upgrade their welding skills in preparation for FCAW certification or recertification (CWB/TSSA). |
