  • FULL TIME

Mon - Fri  9:00 am to 2:00 pm  /  Mon - Fri  2:00 am to 7:00 pm

  • PART TIME

Tue & Thurs  7:00 pm–10:00 pm

This program will introduce students to welding for the purpose of upgrading or developing new and/or improved skills. It provides 100% practical hands-on training where students develop welding skills aimed at earning up to four (4) Welder Qualifications/
Certifications (CWB/TSSA). Training is geared toward skilled trades persons or others in the industry with instruction integrated throughout the training on welding processes and positions, equipment, post-weld operations, shop safety, and information related to welding.

Welding Boot Camp Program options

Students specialize their training by choosing one of the following four course options:

Option 2

SMAW + GMAW

160 HOURS Certification Goals (4) : CWB SMAW (Flat, Horizontal) + CWB GMAW (Flat, Horizontal)
SMAW Shielded Metal Arc Welding (Stick) 80 Hrs +2 CWB Tests
GMAW Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) 160 Hrs +2 CWB Tests

Option 3

SMAW + GMAW + GTAW

160 HOURS Certification Goals (4) : CWB SMAW (Flat, Horizontal) + CWB GMAW (Flat) + TSSA GTAW (Flat)
SMAW Shielded Metal Arc Welding (Stick) 80 Hrs +2 CWB Tests
GMAW Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) 40 Hrs +1 CWB Test
GTAW Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG) 40 Hrs +1 TSSA Test

Option 4

GMAW + GTAW

160 HOURS Certification Goals (4) : CWB GMAW (Flat, Horizontal) + CWB GTAW (Flat, Horizontal)
SMAW Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) 80 Hrs +2 CWB Tests
GTAW Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG) 80 Hrs +2 TSSA Tests
