Students receive 100% practical, hands-on training in SMAW (Stick Welding), focusing on one or multiple positions based on their skill level, with the goal of developing new or improved skills in the SMAW welding process. Course material is delivered through a combination of demonstrations and one-on-one practice sessions with an instructor. Theory and safety are integrated into the practical training, emphasizing sequenced learning and repetitive skill-building as students practice and develop competencies.
Certification testing available if required.

SMAW - INTRODUCTION + CERTIFICATION PREP |

This practical, hands-on training course is designed for individuals with little to no welding experience who are interested in achieving SMAW certification (CWB/TSSA). Students will learn the fundamentals of the SMAW process and develop new or enhanced skills in preparation for SMAW certification testing. Training focuses on one or more positions based on skill level. Instruction covers equipment, materials, applications, techniques, welding electrodes, post-weld operations, shop safety, and other related aspects of the SMAW process. |
